Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

This recipe comes from The Sisters Cafe. I usually just get the individually frozen Tilapia fillets from Costco. I usually use two or three for my family and then I have extra topping that I use at the end or to use on bread (broil it).

Ingredients
  • ¼ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ teaspoon dried basil
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
  • 2 pounds Tilapia fillets
      Directions
      1. Preheat broiler.
      2. Line a rimmed cookie sheet with foil and spray with cooking spray.
      3. In a small bowl, mix together Parmesan cheese, butter, mayonnaise, and lemon juice.
      4. Season the cheese mixture with basil, pepper, onion powder, and celery salt. Mix well and set aside.
      5. Arrange fillets in a single layer on prepared pan.
      6. Broil a few inches from the heat for 2-3 minutes.
      7. Flip fillets over and broil for a couple more minutes, until mostly cooked through.
      8. Remove from oven and cover with Parmesan cheese mixture.
      9. Broil for 2 more minutes or until topping is browned and fish flakes easily with a fork. Do not overcook fish.
      10. Serve immediately.
